Hey this is David, CEO of Fraction 8. When we started the company I got tired of dealing with the phone companies on setting up a Toll Free number. They made it complicated and most of the time the person I was talking to didn’t really know how to explain everything to me. Our goal was to have sales people in different sections of the country be able to answer calls that are coming from there general locations. Well like I said the regular phone companies made it hard and it was just too expensive. Then we found another company that provided us a toll free service, but their customer service…how can I put this……it sucked. I can’t stand bad customer service, but that is a story for another day. I finally found FreedomVoice and said what the heck, they offer a Free trial and it won’t cost anything to give them a chance. Well i have never been happier. I have never had any problems and the customer service is great.

Enough of the praising, let me explain how we use it;

We run what is known as a virtual office, meaning there is no central office. Everyone from designers to sales work from home. We  have three sales-people that handles all the calls. Each sales-person is located in a different city and they have a special extension so that when you can and use their extension their cell phone will ring. This is working great. We had a professional voice-over made for our greeting, which only cost about $80. This greeting directs callers to different departments (billing, support, etc) and it made us sound more professional than our competitors. The cool thing about the system is that we if we miss a call, (which by the way I really hate), they voice-mail is stored online and sent to our email in-box that we specify. I also have it set to send voice mails to my Blackberry so that I can listen to them anywhere without having to dial in the old fashioned way to check voicemail. we don’t use the Fax feature too much, but when we did it worked great and sent the fax straight to our email.

So to finish up, the FreedomVoice Toll Free service is great in my opinion. It works great and has a ton of features. And at only $10 bucks a month we literally save thousands per year for similar or less features from traditional phone companies.
