Case Study InnovativeSewing.com

The Challenge
The owner of InnovativeSewing.com is a great seamstress and started a website a couple of years ago that has sewing tutorials on the site. A great idea but, the problem was the traffic to the site was very low.

The Solution
After discussing the situation with us, we decided to redesign the site and build it on top of the WordPress blogging platform. Next the site was made search engine friendly so that the site would be listed when people did a search on things related to sewing. The owner also wanted to make a little money from the site, so we setup Google Adsense and Amazon affiliate ads on the site.

We also added Google Analytic code to the site so the owner could analyze the traffic coming to the site. Which is key to tracking your marketing efforts.

The Result
Once these changes were made InnovativeSewing.com has now become a very popular site in the sewing community, with over 350 websites now linking to it directly. The owner can now easily update the site at a moments notice and schedule articles to be posted automatically which frees up here time. Using Google Analytics she can now easily see what traffic is coming to the site and adjust her marketing accordingly.

Also with this significant increase in traffic, more people are now clicking on the ads and this is bringing in a steady monthly income.

Overall the site is very successful and the owner is extremely happy.
